Catching up on life

It's been a LONG while since my last post isn't it? Not like me huh? Maybe, well I wouldn't know. My thoughts have been all over the place lately. Well I've finally decided to update. I'll try to recall everything as much as I can as I only remember everything vaguely.

Well I've changed MAT class.. AGAIN.. for the 3rd time.. in a MONTH! D:! Maybe it's due to the horrible topic test results :( I barely made it past the halfway mark! And I completely screwed up the questions that required the CAS :( Argh! I should've tried harder to learn it up beforehand.

Yes guys, that's the CAS calc. Oh the wonders you can achieve with a simple RM480.

The rest had suggested switching over to the March intake.. just for MAT3C3D. I had doubts at first. But I tagged along with the rest of them. The class I was in was going to be half empty and probably dissolved if everyone left anyway. Besides, what could beat starting afresh with 3 months of knowledge in hand already :)

Switched over to MAT6, great. Now I had 5 hours a week instead of 4. And it completely messes up timetable :( But heck, if it's for the marks.. Anything is possible! The 7 of us walked into the March class. Looked around... OMG WHY IS THE CLASSROOM SO SMALL! *scans crowd*.. 30 people + us. D:! So we went to a different room, slightly larger but still packed. This isn't a good sign.. Speaking of signs..

EXTEND!! Which would have been pretty normal.. But to us.. Well.. It's self-explainatory :)

Now comes to good part, VELVET CONCERT 2010!! WOOOOOO

The view all the way from THE BACK! Good thing bout it? Moment the lift door opened, my ears were greeted to the tune of Starlight :). The downside? The tune came along with offbeat drumming and seriously off tune singing. I'm just saying.

So I made my way into the hall, and gawd it was packed. Like.. full D:! of chairs! WTH? Epic chairs at "rock" concert. So yeah, roughly 1000 people crowded the MPH.. in their seats. Of course, there was the sesat group of 7 way at the back screaming and shouting like nobody's business. Ahahhaa! Which later grew into a group of 10 and went all the way to the front cheering, jumping, screaming for the bands playing. I wonder who was in that 10 ;)

But thanks to that group of 10, people started joining in. 10 turned to 30, to 50, to 100! :DDDDD

It was really stupid to see people still in their seats even after the bands gestured to them asking them to enjoy themselves and stand up. Pfft, why'd they even bother showing up if all they were gonna do was remain seated and sleep?

I'm feeling lazy.. REALLY LAZY.. WAY TOO LAZY to bother writing updates.

Incoherence

So yeah, today was supposed to be THE day. And it was. Finally got my SPM results back, mind you it wasn't what I had hoped for. (Then again EVERYONE hopes for straight A's but only a handful actually gets is). That's right folks, didn't get straight A's, only managed EIGHT.. pfft. I should have studied more. URGH.. And it never ceases to amaze me, the tears, the disappointment people feel, when they get straight A's but not all of em are "PLUS", I'm just refering to this in general. I mean c'mon! STRAIGHT!!

Was staring at my results when suddenly I heard someone yell out "KIN HOE!!" Looked around.. hmm.. nothing then "CHOONG KIN HOE!!".. *looks up* LOL! You know who you are xD

Went to pyramid to "celebrate (I guess)".. had lunch, watched a movie. Mind you there were ALOT of ex-F5's in pyramid, heh, prolly celebrating as well.

Too tired and not bothered to write any more. :(

Soundchecks

This is probably one of the most tiring days I've ever experienced in 2010.

Woke up and prepared for college, had 6 hours straight today. 8.30 - 2.30. I really dislike Fridays.. urgh.. Waiting for Gazi's mom to fetch us home, got back to kk around 3.30. There was barely any time to rest as I rushed back home to prepare for practice at the local studio. We had booked a session from 3 - 5 pm but we only made it there around 4. Curse the jam. Practiced.. and practiced.. all the way to 5.30pm. Turns out auditions only provided 1 guitar amp, and we needed two, last minute entrance by King Yang xD.

Went back to his place to collect the extra amp and equipment. By the time I got to Sam's place it was already 5.45. So yeah, we left around.. 6.. Which is when auditions start, and awesome enough, epic traffic jam all the way to summit, from kk.. nonstop. URGH. Reached the place at 6.45. Kinda late.. =.=

So we rushed to register and wth.. our band wasn't on the list! :O Nevertheless, got that over with and joined the audience. There were a couple of bands that were quite good. The one who did Sweet Child O' mine, another band which played Use Somebody, another good 1 played TiRo (woot muse song!). Another notable band played a Jet song, although I missed that one completely cause I went for dinner. Oo oo and and and a rock rendition of Tik Tok! Didn't have the chance to eat or even snack on anything since 12.30 and it was already 9. You can only imagine the HUNGER +___+

So yeah, glanced at watch.. 10.30.. WTH!! And it still wasn't our turn. After a little discussion and sorting out we were allowed to play, at 10.45 and we were the LAST band. We got rushed during soundchecks. Still have a few kinks we need to sort out, the mic was too soft and I ended up playing too loudly. Treble too sharp =.=

AHHH.. Well it's all over now, only can hope for the best..

And I'm sick of being chauffeur.

Ahh, running outta title ideas :S!

Once again, it's Tuesday. And with every Tuesday, I'll be stuck in the library for the 1st 2 hours of college.. Garh, why do my breaks always have to be at retarded times in the morning? Maybe I should be doing more research for the forum which is going to be.. next month.. Ah nvm, I'm sure I've got it covered :D

Oh gawd, this friggin' sore throat just WON'T go away!! Stupid headache sore throat combo has been nagging me since.. last Wednesday. I HAZ DEADLY FLU OH NOEZ!

Essay on Friday. Oh crap, I really really dislike writing anything other than stories :(
