Jumping up and down

is a pretty tiring experience.

Yesterday started off on a pretty good note :) Did I mention how I just love EALD classes? Ahahaha! Anyways, a piece of paper was handed out during the lesson, we had finally gotten our EALD assignments. Thinking back, we stressed out quite a bit on assignments with like.. 5% such as in bio, and the 1% hwk test in Phy.. That all changed when I saw the task weightage.. 20%! WTH *turns page * Task 2 : Essay - 20%. GARH 40% in total! For this assignment we had to work in Groups of 5. Oh yeah, task 1 was going to be a 15-20 minute oral presentation on a chosen topic. Thankfully you get to choose your group members! :D I'm with, Melanie, May Ling, Itianne, and Amanda (hmm.. I'm the only guy LOL) So yeah, discussed our topic and stuff related to it. Oh yeah, auntie LiMei has BRACES now!! But then couldn't get a good shot of her mouth LOL. :P

6 hour streak of classes on Friday. garh!

You'll probably wondering what does the title have to do with the post? Well this is where it comes in, got home round' 4pm, packed me stuff and left for BLG concert at 5. Oh and it was FREE! Not to mention there was a chance of winning a Nokia X6. *you get to buy it at $66 instead of $2000. WHOO. Went with Jon and Aly. I went for.. Phone/BLG = 70/30 LOL.
Traffic was hectic, urgh, took us over an hour to reach the place. Then we had to stand for another hour before they actually let us in. The 3 of us were 1 of the first 100 or so people to get in the stadium, AND WE STILL COULDN'T GET THE DAMN LUCKY DRAW COUPONS FOR THE X6 WTHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. They gave out 3-frickin'-thousand, AND WHAT? The coupons were finished 10 PEOPLE IN FRONT OF US! GAWD I WANNA HIT SOMEONE! Went all the way there for what? 2 hours of standing and nothing?! =.=

Well least the performances were entertaining. There was a timer on the screen, it wasn't in minutes, it was in seconds, people kept saying 15 more mins and whatnot. I watched it closely, everytime a new minute started there was 100 seconds, hence it wasn't exactly a minute. So anyways when there was 1000 seconds left. THE DAMN TIMER RESET TO 5000. The crowd was pissed, very very pissed. LoL. Then BOOM the lights were killed and the opening act started!

The opening act consisted of 2 DJs, a guy and a girl, well.. eye candy. LOL whoo, was quite bored till they played Tik Tok by Ke$ha, the crowd went nuts, lmao. After them was a band called Sixth Sense, a Malaysian band (which I've never heard of). They were.. ok ok lah. After that, Aizat, another M'sian band performed. They were real cool, better than Sixth Sense (in my opinion larh). Sadly, halfway through their performance, BLG showed up in the floor above for the Meet & Greet session. And they were visible through the glass wall. So yeah, the crowd went nuts, just not for the performance but the sight of BLG in the floor above. Literally the whole crowd just turned to the left, oblivious to everything else. =/ Well, not me :P LOL. They didn't seem to mind the distraction, I liked that band. Ahaha, listening to them made me feel cheerful x]

After Aizat was.. uhh.. some HK guy, I don't even know why got HK guy but just listen lorh. Did I mention how bad my back ached at this point? And also a group of moshers? Why do I always seem to stand right next to the moshers, it was like that in Mtv too. Thankfully that time they were ALL REMOVED FROM THE SITE. MUAHAHAHAHAHA. This time, sadly no =.= and there was also a guy who did nothing but hurl profanities around. Put simply it was an awesome crowd. That crowd was mad, literally. I mean, I get enjoying concerts, letting the adrenaline pump through your veins, just going nuts, but c'mon! At least be considerate of the crowd around you who might just be anti-moshers. So yeah, couldn't focus 1 bit on the performance, so just.. started msg-ing and msn-ing LOL

Finally, the main event, BLG! The soundcheck took forever. It got annoying how the crowd would scream whenever a random person walked up on stage. Person in charge of testing drums walks out *screams*, someone went to test guitar and mic *scream*, a silhouette walks past *screams* C'MON PEOPLE. WAIT LAH. When they finally did come out on stage.. yeah, I almost went deaf. BLG opened with a cover of I Gotta Feeling. Ahaha. Then they played Love Drunk and Hero/Heroine. Then it was one of their newer songs.. Can't remember what it was called.. After that was Two Is Better Than One <3 Then back to their older stuff whoo. THUNDER! :) Final song they played was The Great Escape.

Oh and the moshers, yeah was about to explain why I was so annoyed. I mean.. I get it when you mosh to heavy metal stuff. But moshing to slow sentimental songs..????? I MEAN WTF?

So yeah, went home round 11.30. Then Natalie called Aly, surprise party for Krystle! Went there around 11.50.. Waited, waited, waited, 1am. *door opens* wait.. wait.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY. AHAhahaa!

How do you spend a sudden change in timetable and 2 hour free time? You go for lunch of course! Me, Marcus and Kelly met up with Prem, Gazi and Gazi's friends (I don't know their names =x) at "The Lunch Box". It was.. not exactly the best place I've ate lunch at.. but it wasn't horrible.

When Push Comes to Shove

I watch seconds pass as I will for the day to end.

I saw a HUGE spider in the morning, jutting out of my storeroom door, it's legs I mean. URGH, it was maybe the size of.. my fist. Spiders don't normally grow to fist proportions, so yeah. HOLY DAMN~!

Had 4 hours to kill before my classes begin. Spent 2 hours in the foyer doing homework. Yes I DO do my homework, but only when I'm dead-bored. Discussed bio assignment with half the group, dammit the due date's next Tuesday and we're like at.. what? Taking notes still? Omg larh.

Went for breakfast at "orange" again. with.. Gazi, Bw, Ben, Limei, Itianne, Amanda, May Ling. Mm.. Korean sweets. Thank you Auntie xD. Damn sour larhhhhh x__x

Back-to-back lab sessions. Chem was fun, again. :) whee put metal into H²O or HCl. Actually got to do the lighted splinter test with H² gas. The amount of fumes created by the Mg strip.. :O
omgosh, put a lighted splinter near test tube. "POP" DAAAAAAAAAM LOUD. Although it sounded more like a squeak. LOL

Bio, did Quadrat sampling.. ended up running back in the rain. Why oh why??

Moral.. urgh I hate moral all over again. :(

It's Not The End Of The World

Today started off ok. I think. Now that yesterday's passed, I feel a whole lot better. ;D
Bus came late today.. like.. LATE. Sat at McD so long I thought I had actually missed the bus. Then *honk* owh it's finally here. Stares at watch 7:05am. =.=
Strangely, today no jam! at all! Omg nais. Reached the Sri KL roundabout.. *stares at road* empty LOL. or just.. the half of the roundabout which isn't on the Sri KL side. Damn nice :)

EALD class, whoopie. Saw Limei rushing to class. Being her, she went all the way to SW4-4. But the class was in NE3-12. So... she ran back down 4 floors and then went back up 3 in the next block, when she could have cut across the roof. And of course, she rushed past me without even noticing me. Typical Limei, oblivious to her surroundings :P

Break time. Had to collect new timetable, since I'm changing maths. Now my Tuesdays and Thursday are over free! :D But then Wednesdays and Fridays stressed =.= WHY MONASH? WHY TORMENT US PHARMACISTS?!

Went makan after that, Rock Cafe with Gazi, Ben, Chonek and Kelly. Ran into Prem and his friends, and Marcus, and Jo, and Suqi, and.. alot more la. LoLx. After makan, went Student Centre. This time ran into Amanda and Itianne. LoLx. Played Foosball, 3v3 match :D

Patron Saint of Lost Causes (The Day continued)

Tonight I've fallen and I can't get up, I need your lovin' hands to come and pick me up. Every night I miss you I can just look up and know the stars are holding you tonight.

Should I be happy? Should I be torn? Should I regret? Should I move on? Plague with questions without answers, there's nothing I can draw peace of mind from. 730 days in total, I've reached my crossroads again. Funny how things don't normally play out due to the consequence of 1 big decision, but over a hundred smaller ones. Small decisions that may have seen trivial at the time. Just saying a plain ol' "yes" to an invitation has led me down this long winding road. A road that seems never ending at times.

Thursday, the day possibilities were opened up. It was the very first time I had felt uneasy. The thought of having someone plastered all over your head, I didn't take it seriously then, perhaps that was my first error, accepting bodyguard duty. The day after, Friday, wore me out. Funny how I still remember it clearly, even now. Walking up, sitting down beside, basically attempting small talk and laughing. Stupidity took over, walked away to join my friends. They knew all 'bout me. Maybe not all, there were 8 to begin with, that much I'm still certain. The numbers soon grew, and I found myself sitting in the spotlight, drawing attention from almost everyone I knew. Guess it spun out of control as it spread like wildfire. I made the mistake of letting the talkative ones know.

Saturday, enough was enough. It's been a year since then. There's been ups and downs, hopes and disappointments, fear and doubts, anticipation and dread, but it all comes down to that one day. I don't know what pushed me to do what I did, maybe it was stupidity, yeah it was prolly stupidity. Is there such a thing as fate? Or is everything merely coincidental? Every move I made, everytime I had plans, either they went awry, or the main character of the story wasn't there. 1U, Sunway, Lagoon. 3 times, 3 strikes. I hung my head down in defeat, what did I, a mere shadow in the background, ever expect? Sweet success? Guess I was way over my head.

And so Sunday comes. Having endured as much, I've learnt the greater the hope, the greater the letdown. Never get you hopes up. Nothing is ever worth it. Nothing. I'm just waiting now to see how today plays out, how the next 365 days play out, how my life plays out. Just for today, I guess I'll let the emo side of me out again. After all, writing this, dwellin' deep into my memories has taken a toll on me.

I'll make it out, I have to. Funny how some things just happen at odd times. This weekend, has seriously drained me, both physically and mentally.

When a person gets desperate, that's when he loses sight of what really matters. Right now.. 2nd > 1st

Had driving lessons again today. More mistakes, getting yelled at, and also let's not forget getting cooped up in a huge oven. On the other hand I met someone new, who is also from KK. :D
And also I met Tariq.

Now that's unexpected. My head's really spinning now. Too much info input and barely any output. Brain's going into overdrive, I may just crash. Usually this only happens when I think of stuff waaaaaaay back.. not back as in not so long ago.. but now that's starting to change. Circles I am speaking, but who am I to say? Goes to show the way I handled things was.. stupid.

As tomorrow looms over the horizon, wants, regret, doubts, all start to converge.

Speaking of irony.. learnt a whole lot about the meaning of "irony". Best example was..

Today's Chem essay was awesome :)

And the most epic thing happened today. Did I ever mention that faulty elevator at Sunway which was all dark where you couldn't see anything at all after the door closes except for the buttons cause they glowed due to the light they emit?

Well.. about that.. went in.. Clicked "G" *creeeeeeeeeeeak* *jerk* "Dey, this lift nonstop jerking la, just imagine if we get stucked" *ding!* See indicator "G" doors opening... --| |--
THEN STOP. WTHHH. DOOR STUCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH AM EFF GEEE~!! Stupid lift was like.. 1 cm above ground lvl so the friggin' doors just wouldn't budge. So yeah, trapped in there.. with gazi, ben and a foreign dude. We tried prying the doors open, and after awhile the crowd outside noticed as well, they could see us struggling through the small gap. They also tried to pry it open from the outside.

After about.. 5 attempts.. we gave up. "Has this ever happened to you before?" We asked the foreigner. "yeah.. about 3 times" LOOOL WTH and he still takes the lift. Luckily the lift went back up a floor after we clicked "1". So yeah, got the hell outta the elevator and walked down the stairs, you can't go wrong with stairs, they don't lock you in :)

Trying so hard

All it takes is a few minutes for me to get completely sidetracked, losing all my focus and literally blank out. Everything that happened after that was subconscious and all a blur. I can't remember a single thing I said.

Argh, another dilemma. Apparently there was a student who failed to get into Monash cause he/she took Maths 3A/3B. Monash wanted 3C/3D for whatever course he/she applied for. Despite having an epic TER of 94.5 he/she still got rejected. Wth. So yeah, the lecturers went about inquiring about the minimum maths for the top unis in Aus. I looked at the paper handout they gave.

"Pharmacy : Monash : 3C/3D WTHHHHHH."

Dammit, I may need to change my timetable, this is going to screw up all my subs and all my projects. THANK YOU MONASH. I can already imagine supplying medicine with uber pro calculations, differentiating and integrating the amount of med someone needs. Meh.

So yeah, I'm gonna need to check it out 1st b4 making my choice. Sadly, must decide by 2moro, we were given an awesome time of 1 day to choose. Life just keeps getting better and better.

Once again, succumbing to the pain. Woohoo. Although it isn't as bad as I expected. I've gone completely numb, can't feel anything now.

I hate it when I'm proven wrong. The fabricated illusion I've worked so hard to build up over the past few months is unraveled in mere seconds. Hope's a fragile emotion.

Today was quite fun, I might say. Had EALD class again, I'm starting to really enjoy those classes. Mr. Oliver's a good teacher =D. Once again, divided into groups randomly and discussed benefits adulthood as opposed to being an adolescent. T'was a pretty fun discussion, very interesting points from everyone. Amanda why you so pro at asking questions?? LOL

The illusion's my reality

I've been feeling kinda weird lately, or rather just today. If you focus on your goal, never lose sight of it. I have no idea why I thought of that line. Maybe it's kinda true, as long as you keep every inch of your focus onto that one goal, there is no way you'll ever be sidetracked. Put into a different perspective, I kinda twisted it into my own way of explaining things.

Sight's the most important factor, I suppose. Everytime it comes into view, the pain follows suit. As time goes on, the pain's been dulled by the lack of sight. I'm starting to go into that state again, oblivious to everything going on around me, wanting nothing more than what I once wanted. I suppose it makes sense, having sight gives you that sense, the ability to visualise and grasp the illusion of everyday life. Like bw once said, blablabla blind blablabla. Well, I wasn't really focused on what he was saying, only heard "blind" in it. Seeing that name kinda jolted something back into me.

Well, thankfully it doesn't hurt. I mean.. it does, just nowhere near as bad as it use to. So I guess I'll live. Haha. However, those 2 lines I said on that final day, and everything that happened that day last year will forever be etched in my livin' memory. You can deny it all you want, I know my mere presence is enough to disgust you. Actions speak louder than words, and I can see right through your deception. Put on a good face, then stab me in the back.

Yeah, I know I'm kidna being silly again. But hey, it's what I do. Perhaps this is my way of seeking comfort, by twisting reality into my own little safe haven where the truth is the way I want to see it.

Downright silly and/or retarded

Well, so it's been another day in college, more work, more knowledge and understanding of the world, and of course, more assignments! :D

EALD was fun. We were all randomly divided into groups of 4 each, 7 in total and had to discuss the meaning of "Cultural Identity". So whee, screw last week's work which I practically didn't even know about :D From a discussion on culture, somehow it became.. RELIGION. wth lol.
Ever since one of the groups mentioned religion and mixed culture, every other single group also had to say "Before I begin my presentation, I would like to touch on the subject of God. Personally, I believe in... blablablabla" Yeah. Wth. At the end of the class, BOOM. Here we go again. Meh

2 hours break yippee. Managed to do a few Phy hwk questions. bw.. again.. CC wth addicted bastard. Walked around, looked at the crowd, buy food and drinks, blablabla usual lazing around things.

Chem time. ESSAY NEXT WEEK WTHHH 5% of total course marks. daaaaaaaaaamMMmmm. Gotta put my all into this and hope I don't screw up. It's basically all about "Periodic Trends" period 3, I mean.. pfft.. how hard can that be?

Did my i-Zone registration today. Finally managed to get my timetable changed! Ah yes, the sweet sweet smell of success! :) After the changed, my classes only start at 12.30. I glanced at my watch, 8.15. Wow, that's gonna be a loooooooooooooooong wait for classes. So the usual larh.. Lepak-ing in the usual spot x]

I'm starting to feel my lvl of English is deteriorating slowly. Well, I read bw's English work assignment.. thingy.. whatever you call it, rofl. Garh, damn pro english. >.<
Speaking of English, I've got a presentation on Friday :O Yay for joining a different EALD class, instant work! Luckily, I've found a group already.. (I think). Guess we'll see how it goes on Friday then. Maths in the morning tomorrow. It's gonna be another long day, hopefully there ain't gonna be much work.

Also had my 1st Phy lab session of the year. We're to set up an experiment on.. smth pendulum related (LOL) and uhh.. test smth, can't remember exactly.. But we (our group) is gonna have to hand in a report next Wed.. Knowing us.. I really hope we can manage it amidst all our other assignments. :O

In completely unrelated news, I'm starting to feel more cheerful LOL. Sometimes.. I miss the emo-ier days hahahahaaaaa. =)

Down the drain

Today was retarded. Urgh, no shit, it was, I think I made a complete fool of myself, no thanks to people.

The day started out fine, had high hopes for the day. Tuesday was the most stressful day for me as I had 6 straight hours from 10.30 - 4.30. Thought I'd give it my all and try to cope as I couldn't change my timetable the other day. Everyone else had classes in the morning at 8.30, so I just sat in the same place we gather everyday and did my homework. (yes.. ME.. doing homework) although I gave up halfway.

Saw chonek round 9.30, his lab session just ended and we both had an hour left to kill before the next class starts. Went to eat breakfast, it's a friggin' MUST for me as there is NO time whatsoever to eat after 10.30. Went for EALD after makan-ing. Saw a hong ye lookalike. lmao.
Seems like I'm running into people who resemble people I know.

EALD was quite fun. Had group work. We were to group up and discuss "Identity".

LOL~! So yeah, the group at the back (all guys) is known as the "fishing" group hahaha. I'm sure you're well aware what "fishing" meant :P

Had 10 minutes break after EALD, even bringing my own food, by the time I got down to ground floor, 5 minutes were gone. So munched smth fast and rushed off to Chem lab. I was late. ==
Most of the seats were taken so I just went all the way to the back, used to that anyways.
Made a new friend. I think. LoL. =D

0 time after chem, rushed to bio lab. Got our 1st assignment for the year. HAAAAAAAIZ.
We're to study an ecosystem blablabla. I shall not dwell on details, just know it's gonna be quite.. hard.. I'm supposed to be on PowerPoint for the group, yippee as I have 0 PP exp.

Moral was the last sub of the day. It seemed quite fun, so far the word "MORAL" had been associated with "omg moral r..?? wth moral??" and sayings like that. But yeah.. after being briefed, we were informed about our 1st moral assignment.

Oh Amm Gee! Epic shit. Moral didn't seem like a drag anymore.. until..
"Today's class ends at 5.30" WTH!!!
With that, my 6 hr streak is officially 7 hrs. I'm definitely getting my timetable changed.
So yeah, we got sorted out into groups to start planning who's going to do what for the concert.
Split into groups for:
- Hospitality
- Searching for sponsors
- Ushering
- Performance
- etc etc.

Me and BW signed up for performance. So..

So far it doesn't seem to bad right..? WRONG! Epic shit happened then. Ain't gonna say it. Too retarded. Sometimes.. I seriously can't take it. It's getting really tiring to be subtle, but some things have to be said.

I was asked an interesting question yesterday. Seriously.. If she came back, I might just give in all over again.

All things aside.. It's time to pick up my guitar and start practicing again :)

Had Biology class today, learnt about how variation occurs and it's importance.
Why am I posting about this, you ask? It's for a very stupid reason. Don't question me :)
Apparently variation is important for resistant to diseases, if everyone had the same immune system, they'd all die from the same disease.. Then a thought hit me.. Imagine a whole community of Wei Khangs, identical to each other in every way. "Dey you know r.. Yeah la.. That one r.. dam evil a, why she so evil larh" All going about their everyday life. 2 wk's talking to each other, another group of wk's at some table. Then you-know-who to wk (F) just happens to walk past.. BOOM everyone turns, looks at her, and just drops dead LOL

Flooded with knowledge

Went for the Star Education Fair at KLCC today. Yes, me, going to an education fair :O!

Well I thought I'd go try it out as there was going to be talk on pharmacy during the fair. After all, I might as well try to get all the info I need if I'm going to change my main plan for the future.

Had our lunch at Nando's. Gawd, the place was packed. We waited about 10 minutes just to get a seat. After that, ... we ordered and.. .. .. .. 30 minutes later.. .. .. WTH WHERE'S OUR FOOD?! Some failcase misplaced our order or smth and got really mixed up, Ugh, damn annoying. Almost made us late to the talk later.

Walked over to the convention centre where the fair was being held. The talk was on the 3rd floor. Rushed up and found our way into the hall.

When we got in, it had already started. Thank you awesome service from restaurant we ate at for lunch. The talk lasted about.. 20+ minutes. Cause they had to cram 4 different talks into a 2 hour session. It was a pretty informative talk. It certainly gained my interest in the field of medicine and pharmacy. One thing's for sure, I don't regret changing my plan now :)

We left when the Psychology talk was about to start. Nothing to do with us LOL

Went back to the ground floor and into the fair. Checked out some of the booths for info on pharmacy. Though it is.. kinda late.. considering the fact I'm already in college. lawls.


HELP ! Yes, turns out they only accept students taking A-Levels into their pharmacy degree. SAM/Foundation? Screw off. zZz. So guessing I don't qualify. Meh.

TAYLOR'S! The uni everyone seems to be going to. Can't really remember much from here.

MONASH! One of my main options after Pre-U. Luckily for me, they do accept AusMat.. Well.. it's an AUSTRALIAN university after all.. Haha. But.. I'm gonna need a TER 80+? I think.. So yeah, got ALOT of hardwork ahead of me if I stick with pharmacy.

Ah yes, SUNWAY! Whee! My ausmat college xD.

Went over to IMU after that, just grabbed a bag of brochures to study xD

This car was like.. abandoned at the car park or smth. It had a friggin' thick layer of dust over it. And alot of dust drawings xD. Sigh, poor car :(

Overall, pretty interesting day. Don't regret it one bit :)

Retardation

So today I went for another driving lesson. I had initially thought it'd be another 1 hr lesson, then I could go to gym with the rest. BUT THEN... DEM DEM DEM.. Suddenly, drove all the way to the driving school, registered for lessons, boom! 2 hours lesson + all the delay = 4 hrs. wth.

Learnt how to park, hill, 3-point turn today. The 1st hour was crap, I kept messing up with the clutch and reverse. It's been quite awhile since I last drove, or 1st drove. D:
Got nagged, blablabla, dam stressed out, couldn't focus one bit. But after about.. 30 mins..? or so.. I got the hang of it =D.

Went in to register and what'd ya know.. "Hey Kin Hoe!" *looks up*. Natalie was there. Hahah, she was taking her driver's test today, she passed. Congrats! xD

Then a second instructor took over and taught me how to do the hill and 3-point. Luckily, this time I got one that was quite friendly, he didn't scold/nag me for all the stupid mistakes I made. Which made me alooooooooooooooot more relaxed :DDDD
Thus, I managed to do both almost effortlessly :DDDD (not the slope though, I'll mention why later)

Went back into the building, stoned and waited around for quite some time. Walked out again to finish up my day and suddenly "HEY KIN HOE" again from somewhere. Looked up, and this time I saw Ern Ern with Jia Min and another friend whose name I do not know. =O

Gawd, there were many KK people there today :S

So yeah, the instructor told me to go practice on my own. Do the parking and hill. I did the parking, meh, no sweat.. Then I thought I'd be smart and attempt the hill... Went well.. drove up.. stopped.. freed gear.. handbrake.. then it was time to drive. BOOOOOM!! ENGINE STALL. OMGGGGGGGGG everytime I start it, car flys backward. OMG, over panicked. Got stuck for about 5 mins, disrupting the track, it was already friggin crowded. >.<

An Interesting Twist

Today was quite the relaxing day.

Had 2 hours to kill before orientation starts at 9.30. Spent it lazing around our usual spot. I've chosen to drop Computer Science for Physics so yeah, went to get my subs changed. o_o now I have 6 straight hours on Tuesday from 10.30 to 4.30 :O Gawd, there'll only be about.. 10 minutes break after EALD before I have to rush off to the labs.. somewhere. I highly doubt there'll be enough time to grab smth decent to eat. Each lab session only lasts an hour and there's no way I can afford to waste any of that time running around trying to satisfy my hunger O_O + right after Chemistry lab I have to rush off to Bio lab. No time for a snack there. After that, Gotta run to Moral Studies. Never thought Moral would still haunt me, it won't go awayyyy!!!!

10 minutes is definately not enough time for a decent meal, the cafe stuff takes damn long to prepare anyway. =(((((( *epic sad face*

Well, I thought I could change both to EALD 2 and Maths 3. It would have been.. convenient.. since it actually fit my timetable and also for a number of reasons, but alas.. I can't change those 2. Can't change that many.. Guess I'll have to see how it works out. I hope I can stand 6 hours of classes without a meal in between. T_T *sobsob*

After 1 week.. if it doesn't work out I'll try to get it sorted out. After all I've got till the 18th to finalize my timetable.

Once that was done, we met up with bw.. who had.. other "issues" he had to attend to. Meh. Well, can't really say much bout him cause if it were me.. I would have done exactly the same LOL. Saw Limau and her friend on the way to MPH4 and Chonek as well. So we went to try to get seats early. Conveniently enough, the whole back row was empty.. Which would mean it could fit all 10+ of us. BUT THEN!! Apparently it was reserved for lecturers :(

So yeah, we moved up ahead. Got split up. So yeah.. listened to the talk on saving $$
It was pretty interesting, the presenter was good. I think her name was Angela. Turns out she paid all the university fees herself by doing part time jobs, singing at weddings, teaching and alot more. I was awed by how hard she worked to get to where she is now. Hopefully that'll inspire me to work harder in college. :)

I enjoyed the part about how most people waste their $$ on petty wants, like just having a fancy cup of coffee which would cost about.. $15 :O!! Just drinking homemade coffee instead of fancy ones from let's say.. Starbucks.. would save you $13 per cup. Which would amount to $77 a month and over $931 A YEAR. OMG!!

I feel so enlightened now xDD

Spent the rest of the day lazing around, ah yes I love the student centre.. It's so cooling :)

A Day of Events

BSOD

So yeah today was the 1st day of classes. Got our timetables today. I can't say I'm too happy with mine though. Most of the slots I got are.. meh.

The subjects
- EALD
- Computer Science
- Mathematics 3A/3B
- Chemistry
- Biology
+ MORAL STUDIES (WTF)

Well.. At least I got the same slot for Chem and Bio with Gazi and Ben. I have the same EALD class as Chonek. And Limei's in my Moral. Plus, it really isn't too crowded on any of the days. At most, it's 4 hours straight with a 20 minute short break in between so I can't really complain. Though I'm alone for 2 of my subs =(

I had Maths and Chem today. Right after getting our timetables from 8-9 and getting briefed, I had to head all the way to the AusMat floor (roof) to find my class. Maths is one of the subs I got no1 else with me. That I know la.. Random people damn lot. Just went for a place somewhere in the back cause by the time I found the class, most of the seats were already taken. The lesson was.. ok ok la. Nothing started yet, just a brief overview of the course and a little self introduction. It was quite fun la.. Listening to people talk about themselves and past times. After the 1st 5 people, the teacher said "Ok, take online off your pasttime cause if not, everyone would be saying the same thing" which is what everyone had been saying about their pasttime. Ahhaha. So yeah.. T'was ok.. *Not that many hot chicks larrhhhh*

Had 2 hours break before Chem.. So you know the drill.. ROCK CAFE. LOL

Grabbed lunch then headed back to campus with Gazi and Ben for Chem. Once again, had to head back to the roof. Urgh. Took awhile to find the place though, none of the signs showed SW4-4. Staring at the sign which showed SW4-1 -> 4-3 *forward* and SW4-5 ->4-7*right* Cause it was behind us. LOL.

Some people said 1st impressions are the most important. After our intro in Chem.. I'm sure we've solidified our place in the class.. in a not so good way. FEAAAAAR.
Apparently there was a person with the same name.. But that person was nowhere near the standard of the other.

Meh, none of my class are the same as.. ******* (Number of stars may or may not vary from the actual amount) Why larh?

There'll be another orientation on Friday. AusMat gets to end at 12 :DDDDD

is so awesome <3

It's already been my 2nd day as an official Sun-U student.. Feels kinda.. nice? haha.

Day 1~
The 1st day was okay. I went by bus, had to get up and be ready by 6.30 and get to McDonalds. The bus was going to be there sometime around 6.50. So yeah, had to get up friggin early. Earlier than when I was in secondary school. *shocked* From there it was about a 1 hour trip to Sunway. Without stopping at any stops.. "Why?" you ask?, cause there wasn't a single soul to be seen in any of them. The whole trip, the only passenger was.. me. :O! The driver said that usually the 1st day, most people would be following their parents, I suppose it was kinda like the 1st day of school all over again, only in college. So yeah, nobody but me.

I think I reached early, or rather, earlier than everyone else. Arrived at 8. Walked around doing absolutely nothing, inconspicously scanning the crowd for.. *wink wink* till Ben got there at about.. 8.40+? Then Beng Way and Chonek showed up round' 9. Then I spotted limau. Then Sam arrived. Gazi.. being his usual self, was the latest among us. Went to register for our respective courses 1st.

AusMat --> Me, Ben, Gazi, Chonek, Limau
A-Levels --> Sam
FIA --> Beng Way (feaaaaar)

The remainder of the day was spent listening to talks, talks talks and more talks. Then the AusMat group had to go take photos. :O

Then.. Muahaha. Rock Cafe! ROFL. For like.. almost 2 hours.


Day 2~
It was quite relaxing. This time I followed Bw to sunway. Although I still had to get up just as early and be at McD at 6.50 as well. So practically.. no difference. I thought I wanted to try on the new shirt I bought + new shoes. Turned out to be an awesome plan. While walking to bw's car. I slipped *woohoo* holding.. A cup of freshly made hot coffee. (precariously perched on top of my burger box). Doesn't exactly take the mind of a genius to figure out what happened next. *SPLASH* Boom! There goes new shirt and shoes. =.= Though I managed to get em washed once we got to Sunway. Bw mentioned the waiter was.. staring at me in disbelief. Well I'm sure you would have done the same if someone just friggin messed up the beautiful floor you just worked so hard to mop.

Meh, his fault for not moping it properly. Rofl.

Anyways.. Arrived around.. 7.15. Which was damn early, considering my programmes for the day only started at 10.30. Gawd I had hours to burn. Went to grab a bite at the food court nearby. *wink wink*, naw, no cc. It wasn't opened yet -.- who opens at friggin 7 in the morning?
Went back in, lepak-ed awhile, then bw left at about 8.30. Lucky him, FIA starts at 8.30. Good thing Ben already came as well. Followed him around for abit. Sam came but went straight for his a-lvls, they started at 9. 10 minutes after he got there. So once again, stone somewhere till Gazi came, damn late as usual. The 3 of us thought we'd try to go to the designated location for our activities early for a change. Walked all the way up to the 3rd floor, to find out we were on the wrong building =.=!! Went all the way back down, and what'd you know. Spotted Li Mei sitting near the.. err.. the place.. with alot of tables near the cafeteria.. The.. uhh.. lounge? LoL.
Waited for Chonek and Limei's friend to show up. (I forgot her name lol =x)

Went to NE 3.7 at 10.30. It was like.. an exam hall. I think. The size of 2 classrooms. And with all the seats taken, and a long line forming from front to back. We still had to go all the way back and squeeze in some corner. That's how many AusMat students there were. I'd say there was almost 200 :O. So yeah, we split into groups of 10 and went for a tour. "Okay, this group come, you'll be following.. Gabriel (I think) and Felicia. Yes, we LOLed.

The tour was.. hot. Which was 1 way to describe it, literally. Walked a circle before going downstairs.. just to go all the way up to the roof. THE ROOF IS THE AUSMAT FLOOR WTHHH
before going all the way back down to the lab areas. like WTHHH walking in huge giant circles. Then we went back up to the 3rd floor where we were shown where we were to meet up again later, "beside the dustbin" Hahah, if you don't get that, you were never meant to =)

WALKED ALL THE WAY BACK DOWN. Headed to "orange" for lunch. Lawls. Hung around till.. 12.20. We got off the tour early, bout.. 11. So our lunch took like.. 1 hour 20 mins? Went back to Sun-U.. Then Sam had to eat. So back to "orange" we went. Urgh~ Tiringgggggg.
Then.. ANOTHER TOUR LOL. Library this time :D

Finished round.. 2. Spent 2 hours + at Rock Cafe, then came home..

God I'm nervous, we're getting our timetables tomorrow. Garh! @@ Guess the fooling around ends here. Time to get serious.

Lagoooooooooooooooooooooooon!

Went lagoon yesterday. There were 6 of us : Jon, Lillian, Aly, Theresa, Calvin and me. :D

Wasn't sure whether I was going to go, it wasn't exactly that familiar of a group to me. But since I had alrdy prepared everything, might as well go and enjoy. After all, spending a day at lagoon is better than a day at home, no? :)

Met up with Jon and Calvin at SMC. Jon drove =D. Then went to pick up Aly and Lillian. Then it was off to Sunway =DD. Sunway looked quiet. *Durh it was like.. barely 10am* so yeah, we walked to lagoon from there.

Then.. omg wtf over crowded entrance :O! No shit, it was packed. Ahahha. So anyways, we got our watches (Special SunwayLagoon watches, you'll need em to get in xD) and waited for Theresa. Calvin and I then went to KFC to buy a snack while the others waited. It took.. forever to walk to KFC before I noticed.. We took the long way (wtf), walked from the new wing, to the entrance, then to KFC... when we could have just cut across from the new wing. Urgh. Rofl.
Cheesy Wedges ftw! It was supposed to be take-away, but we ended up eating there. Ahhaa

Went back, went in lagoon. Whee. Aly wanted to "warmup" rofl, so we randomly searched for smth.. not all that thrilling. Sat the mini rollercoaster 1st. Beside the log canoe thingy. It was.. "awesome". Meh. Dam boring, rofl. Went for the log thingy next, got wet all over. *Splash*

Then.. Dum dum dum! Pirate Ship!! Guess who skipped it xDDD. Me, Aly, Lil watched from below. Rofl. Jon, Theresa and Calvin went for it :O. Mm.. And yeah, Aly got all excited from seeing a deer. "omg omg omg it's a deer!!" like wth? lol.

After Pirate Ship, Tomahawk! Gaaaaawd, how many upside down rides does a park need? Once again, the 3 of us who skipped the ship, skipped this.. And.. went for.. Spinning pots! LOL

An old flame is rekindled

It's starting all over again. Is this a good sign? I have no idea. I feel I'm heading towards another dead end. The uneasiness, getting restless, the inability to stop someone from getting into your head. It's all the initial signs.

I better stop this before it gets outta hand.
